One month later: Jeff Carter is back on track since traded to Los Angeles Kings

It’s been nearly one month since Jeff Carter was traded to the Los Angeles Kings from the Columbus Blue Jackets for defenceman Jack Johnson.

Jeff Carter's offensive output has increased significantly since joining the Los Angeles Kings right before the trade deadline.

And, so far, Carter has been better off.

In his 12 games so far for the Kings, he’s racked up nine points. (6 goals, 3 assists, 18.2 shooting percentage.)

His time with the Blue Jackets wasn’t too good: 15 goals, 10 assists in 40 games. Now, Carter is moving back to the point-per-game player he was with the Philadelphia Flyers in the 2008-09 season. He registered 84 points in 82 games that year.

His total shooting percentage is an average of 12.4 this season. His conversions has improved greatly since joining Los Angeles.

Since joining the Kings, Los Angeles has gone 9-3, and now is in the eighth seed for the playoffs.

The Kings look to for its sixth straight win against the visiting St. Louis Blues tonight.
